The field of computer technology has always been a very innovative one. Computers have created numerous ways for people to entertain, inform and manage information. With websites and software, computers have made it easy for people and businesses to function very efficiently.

Like most other fields and occupations, the computer field require certain education and training to work in the field. This ranges anywhere from on the job training to a bacherlor or even master degree. However, at times education degree programs are not enough and workers need even more credentials for advancement. Therefore workers in this field need to acquire some sort of certification to demostrate skills and competency in a particular aspect of the job.

One of the most valuable types of certification is database administration or SQL software. The two main providers of this type of certification are the software corporations of Microsoft and Oracle. They compare quite a bit and there are both similarities and differences. First there is Microsoft SQL certification.

With Microsoft there are three distinct levels of certification. This includes Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. This is the tntry level part fo the certification levels where people with this can do a certain task so they need to get many different certifications to do a wider range of tasks. The next level is the Certified IT professional. This is a more advanced certification level and again allows people to do a particular type of function. Then there is the Certified Master where an individual is at a senior level position and does the same thing as the lower levels.
